About Abbotsford Juniors Football Club

Abbotsford Junior Football Club (AJFC) is a voluntary community sporting organisation located in Sydney’s Inner West serving junior and senior football (soccer) players from the Canada Bay Council area and surrounding districts for over 50 years.  Abbotsford Juniors sources the majority of its players from the Sydney suburbs of Abbotsford, Chiswick, Drummoyne, Five Dock, Russell Lea and Wareemba.  

Abbotsford Juniors currently has over 1,400 registered members offering junior, youth and senior competitive football within the Canterbury and District Soccer Football Association (CDFSA). Teams range from under 6 to over 45 age groups, with boys, girls and mixed teams playing in the junior ranks.

Our primary objective is to provide a safe and friendly environment for football players of all ages to develop and enjoy playing football. As the Club’s name suggests, our core focus is on junior football player development: an Executive Committee Member for football development coordinates an age-based training program ensuring that all kids are taught age-appropriate skills. Abbotsford Juniors also offers an extended skills training and academy program for keen junior soccer players who are more serious about developing their footballing skills as well as regular school holiday skills development camps.
